Dixie Paranormal Society of Utah

I'm 30 years old, born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. I'm a divorcee and a single father. From a very early age, I've always had experiences with the paranormal. The first glimpse across the veil came at age 3, when my great-grandmother passed away, and I insisted on watching the angels take her.

 

I was fascinated by what lies beyond the mainstream understanding of the world around us, and checked out my first book on ghost hunting while in first grade. I also spent a fair amount of time learning about magick, psychic abilities, ufology, cryptozoology, etc. I first started ghost hunting fresh out of high school with nothing more than an audio recorder, mostly with just whoever would go. My first steady team consisted of just a coworker/friend and myself, some standard digital cameras and digital recorders. After several years, we disbanded after my partner suffered a back injury, and chose to take a permanent hiatus. I then went back to hunting solo just whenever the opprtunity arose.

 

In 2014, Greg and I began talks of putting together a new team, acquired some real equipment and joined the WISPS family under the name Dixie Paranormal Research. After a few team members came and went, we met Mitch and Terry, who had broken from another local group, and we began talks that led to merging under the new banner: Dixie Paranormal Society.
